Built around reliable local recording.
Connectivity is important, but the tower should not stop protecting the site simply because a mobile connection temporarily drops.
Six capabilities, on every deployment.
Solar power
Off-grid operation with battery capacity sized to the deployment.
4G / 5G
Secure remote management and live access over cellular networks.
AI detection
Human and vehicle events instead of generic motion alarms.
ANPR (optional)
Plate and vehicle information from an add-on ANPR camera on suitable approaches and entrances.
Local recording
Footage keeps recording on the unit through temporary WAN loss.
Audio challenge
Live spoken warning to intruders on monitored deployments.

6MP AI turret cameras, built for the job.
REX 700 and REX 800 deployments currently use the Dahua DH-IPC-HFW3649TP-ZAS-IL-27135 — a 6MP WizSense AI turret camera, chosen for the combination of image quality, on-board AI detection and dual illumination it brings to an unlit site.
- Resolution
- 6MP sensor, up to 3288×1850 at 25/30fps
- Lens
- 2.7–13.5mm motorised varifocal, adjustable to the site on install
- Illumination
- Dual IR and warm-white light, up to 60m range — usable after dark without external lighting
- AI detection
- On-board human/vehicle classification (SMD Plus) and perimeter protection, to cut false alarms from wind, animals and headlight glare
- Audio & recording
- Built-in mic and audio output supports the live audio challenge; microSD slot keeps footage recording through a WAN drop
- Build
- IP67-rated, PoE powered, ONVIF compatible
REX 600 uses Ajax wireless motion detectors rather than this camera — see the tower range for what's fitted to each platform. ANPR is a separate add-on camera, not built into this model.
