No minimum hire, starting now.
Published 27 August 2026
We've removed the minimum hire period across the entire Vigil range. Every platform now hires on a rolling weekly basis — no 4–8 week tie-in, no penalty for a job that finishes early.
Why we changed it
Most tower hire in this industry runs on a standard minimum, regardless of how long the actual job needs. That works fine if your site happens to need exactly that long — it works against you if it doesn't. A two-week job shouldn't cost the same as a six-week one just because that's how the contract is structured.
How it works now
Hire runs week to week from the delivery date until either side gives a week's notice to end it, or you agree a fixed end date upfront. That's it — no small print forcing a longer commitment than the site actually needs.
What hasn't changed
Pricing is still set per platform, based on what it actually carries — a Vigil 600 with motion sensors costs less than a Vigil 700 or 1000 with full camera coverage, and that difference is reflected honestly in the weekly rate rather than averaged into one flat figure.
